On the basis of the pionic weak Hamiltonian derived from free Λ decay, relativistic calculations of nonmesonic weak decays of s-shell hypernuclei are performed. In addition to the one-pion-exchange mechanism, the effect of a typical three-body mechanism is examined. About 30% of the calculated total nonmesonic decay rate is produced by the three-body mechanism. The spectra of emitted protons are estimated. They play an essential role in interpreting the experimental data of the n/p ratios.
