A perturbation method in non-equilibrium thermo dynamics is presented. Changes of energy levels and particle-distributions with time are taken into account self-consistently in a perturbative scheme. The method provides us with a formulation to calculate time-dependent particle-distributions in a closed system as well as in an open system.
