On the Exotic Colored Fields in Low Energy Superstring : Particles and Fields

In the low energy superstring models, new kinds of colored fields appear in addition to the ordinary quarks and scalar quarks. They may induce the rapid proton decay through the Yukawa couplings to quarks and/or leptons. In this work we explored the conditions to suppress the rapid proton decay. It is found that some of these Yukawa couplings may survive even under the conditions of prohibiting the rapid proton decay. From the analysis of K^0-K^^-^0 system and the electric dipole moment of neutron we obtain the bounds of such couplings and of the masses of the exotic colored fields.
