A Role of Quaternions in the Dirac Theory

The Dirac theory is treated by noting that the Lorentz group is realized by a subset of SL(2,H), each element being characterized by a pair of unit quaternion (rotation) and pure quaternion (boost). The Lagrangian formulation is also presented.
