Assuming the existence of multi-quark clusters in nucleus we investigate large transverse momentum production on hadron-nucleus and alpha-alpha collisions and massive lepton pair production off nuclear targets in the framework of hard scattering model. The probability of finding multi-quark clusters in nucleus is parametrized in a simple form and the modified Kuti-Weisskopf model is employed to determine the parton distributions in the clusters. The approach yields results which are in reasonable accord with the data. It is shown that the existence of the multi-quark clusters in the nucleus is consistent with present data of muon pair experiments.
