Simple discussion is presented on the fundamental nature of the ground state of the asymmetric Anderson Hamiltonian. It is shown qualitatively how the number of the localized d-electrons and the phase shift of the conduction electrons at the Fermi level vary with variation of the energy level of localized d-state. Mention is made also of the behavior of the magnetoresistance.
