Two topological conservation laws are obtained for the modified sine-Gordon field in the (2,1) space-time. Static solitary solutions including the multi-soliton like solutions are presented in terms of the curvilinear coordinates, and topologically discriminated. The total energy thereof is calculated and the stability to a certain type of perturbation is proved.
