High-momentum-transfer data on the nucleon electromagnetic form factors are analysed by using the McMillan-Predazzi's Regge-theoretical formula with several modifications in its treatment. In particular the fact that the effective couplings of this problem have damping effects plays an important role in getting a good fit to the high-momentum-transfer data. For comparison, the same data are analysed by using the ordinary "resonance-pole" model. These results show that, in order to analyse the high-momentum-transfer data, the Regge-pole model is preferable to the "resonance-pole" model. Regge parameters thus obtained are shown to be slightly different from ones obtained from the high-energy scattering analysis, although the restrictions imposed upon Regge trajectories are different.
