Mass Variation of a Composite Particle versus That of Its Constituent

Relations between the mass of a composite particle and masses of constituents are investigated. The property that the former varies more slowly than the latter is found in some limited models. It is also shown that the mass of a composite particle, in some cases, becomes smaller as the mass of a constituent becomes larger.
