• Investigations of single nucleon transfer reactions between complex nuclei are made in the quasielastic approximation. Nuclear attraction is taken into account for the transfer reactions at high energies. A simple analytic expression for the differential cross section is obtained which gives two peaks, one at some intermediate angle and the other at θ=0°. Some features of the forward peak are discussed. The result seems to coincide with the observed angular distribution.
