Determination of the Electromagnetic Transition Form Factors from the Scaling Behavior in the e-p Scattering

Explicit expressions of the electromagnetic form factors for the resonance production and sum rules for the transition magnetic moments are derived by requiring that the precocious scaling be reproduced in the direct channel resonance model for the e-p scattering. Using these results we obtain explicit forms of the structure functions W_1 and <ν>W_2 in the scaling region and calculate (dσ_<res>)/(dσ<el>) and the radiative decay width Γ_r of the nucleon resonance.
