• A charge distribution of partons inside the proton is conjectured. On this basis νW_2 is calculated in parton model for high energy inelastic scattering. Scaling behaviour of νW_2 is reproduced and agrees fairly well with the experimental data. The predicted value of the mean square charge per parton is also lower than that obtained previously.
