A renormalizable weak interaction mediated by the weak boson with additional component, which has a negative metric, is investigated. The general argument on the renormalization of the electromagnetic vertex in the parity violating case is presented and, using this argument, we discuss a possibility of finite self-mass and self-charge of the electron and the muon by the use of the ξ-limiting Lagrangian of Lee and Yang. In this way the mass of the usual weak boson is found to be 242m_p and that of the additional boson with a negative metric 140m_p which is the same value as that proposed by Terazawa, where m_p is the proton mass. Finally the effect of the weak interaction on the Lamb-shift and the polarization of the final electron in the scattering plane are calculated up to the lowest order of the weak interaction. Both effects are extremely small owing to the largeness of the weak boson mass and therefore negligible.
