A quark-diquark model of baryons is adopted to describe nonleptonic decays of hyperons. Parity-violating and parity-conserving decays are assumed to rise, respectively, through weak and weak-strong sequntial decays of the constituent strange quark of diquark of baryons. A simple way is showm to explain most features of both decays.
