A representation theory of superfields is presented. This theory keeps the formal structure of the Lagrangian invariant, though extended to a superfield from an ordinary field. Moreover such a superfield should behave in the same way as a usual ordinary field. We formulate the algebras of the covariant derivatives, which are redefined in terms of Majorana covariant derivatives D and D. Using these operators, we construct the projection operators which decompose a linear vector superfields into irreduciblc representations. The forms of the irreducible representations are explicitly described, and the equivalence of the representations under supersymmetric transformations is discussed. Finally, we construct spin operators for superfields that satisfy the same commutation relation as the angular momentum operators, [s_i, s_j]=iε_<ijk>s_k.
