Relations among Elements of the Quark Mass Matrices

Current experimental data suggest the relations |V_<us>|〜√<m_d/m_s>, |V_<ub>/V_<cb>|〜√<m_u/m/c> and |V_<cb>|〜m_s/m_b between the Kobayashi-Maskawa Matrix and the quark mass ratios. We consider these relations in this paper. We find that they yield some attractive relations among the elements of the mass matrices. These relations are represented by three parameters. These parameters may provide information about the origin of the Yukawa couplings.
