This study aims at the realization of running a powered-wheelchair safely and comfortably by voice commands. Usual input forms of a powered-wheelchair are joystick or switch button pushed by fingers, a head or tongs. This report discussed characteristics of voice input and differences among these input forms. Next, the tests of running using the simulator of powered-wheelchair are stated. This simulator has courses both in out door and indoor. Results of running of powered-wheelchair by voice shows what problems to be solved in running by voice depending on different environments.
