• The characteristics of the double focusing beta-ray spectrometer having a reference radius of 15 cm and a deflection angle of 180°designed on the baisis of inhomogeneous sector magnetic field theory were described. Resolution and gathering power of the spectrometer with the ^<137>Cs k-conversion line were 0.52% and 0.3% respectively. Low energy electrons less than 5 kev were measured by using a plastic scintillator of 1.5mm in thickness as a detector.
