In order to improve photographic properties for radiation, the effect of metalic foils used for photographic intensification on photographic density of X-ray films has been studied. It is found that film sensitivity for gamma-rays from Co^<60>, when an aluminium foil of 2.7×10^<-2> g/cm^2 in thickness was set in front of the X-ray film, increases by a factor of 1.2 than that of a lead foil of 4.5×10^<-2> g/cm^2 in thickness. The error attributed to dispersion of photographic density is 4.7% for the general badge film, while 2.3% for the aluminium foil 2.7×10^<-2> g/cm^2 in thickness.
