In regard to social science in Japan, there are two main reasons for the notorious difficulty of its terminology and sentence structure. Firstly, the terminology of social science is doubly alienated from our everyday language, because it is not merely imported from Europe but translated into Kanji as well. Secondly, while the Japanese language is rich in emotional expressions, it is not yet structurally built-up or refined enough to express ourselves logically. This is an obstacle to the founding of a logical basis (sociological thinking) on the minds of the Japanese people. In its turn, it hampers the vividness of growth in social science. We endeavor to plan to overcome this obstacle in such a way that <Part I : Formation of "Japan's Social Science"> and <Part II : Formation of "the Japanese language"> could complement each other to contribute to the solution of the problem.
