• The articles on business intern system has appeared in some newspapers since 1996. For instance, it was written, "Try Finding Employment of University Students" in the NIKKEI SHINBUN's evening edition November 28, had no specific term yet. The abolition of "The Agreement of Finding Employment" in the spring 1997 has given rise to a big chance, and consequently Business intern system has began to be introduced into the curriculum in some universities. Then, this paper, reports on the current state of the university and industrial world in Japan and considers the merit and demerit of it,while searching for the background of the introduction of business intern system.
