During the so-called Year of the Woman, there was a lot of improvement on women's working environment. We attempt to characterize the consciousness and the environment of working women in kure. Most of them (69.5%) think that she could possibly manage a career and rise through the ranks, but 70% of them know that there are some unfair managements within distinction of sex. The principal factor analysis was applied to examine the character of their environment and produced three common factors with eigenvalue greater than 1.0. From the plots of factor's scores, four groups are characterized.
