<報文>乾式鉛製錬の基礎的研究 : 下向送風燒結法による鉛鑛石燒結に關する物理的條件の研究

To study the fundamental conditions for sintering of roasted lead ore by D-L sintering machine, tests were made by small-scale apparatus. It is true that suitable size-distribution of ore and adequate additive water content are inevitable in obtaining good results from sintering. Adequate additive water content was found experimentally on several size-distribution. For instance, when part under 100 mesh was 50%, 10% of additive water was suitable, and when the former was 40%, suitable water was 7%. Consideration on theoretical foundation of that fact was made. And examining temperature and constituents of exhaust gas, studies of reaction in sintering and of concentration of SO_2 were made.
