After years of discussion, we decided to reform the ways of registration with the Tennis Tournaments in the Intercollegiate Athletic Meets, or Kosen Taiiku Taikai. We used worksheets of MS-Excel as the entry forms, which were sent directly to the tournament director by e-mail. The items, such as the school names, the kinds of events, the players' names and their grades, are automatically "looked up" by other worksheets : the lists of the players and teams and the tournament tables. Together with other documents, such as the Management Policy of the Tournaments, the Guidelines for the Umpires, the Judging Policy, and so on, it saves us much more time and labor to prepare and control the Tournaments. This paper could also be an example for the way of reengineering in various kinds of school administration, not by a specialized system, but by using rather common and familiar PC software on the network.
