The object of this paper is to reconsider the periodic system of the elements and chemical periodicity in its system from the secondary periodicity point of view. In 1915 the phenomenon of the secondary periodicity was discovered by E. V. Biron (Russ.) as a new periodicity in analogous-elements series of the elements, but in spite of being effective in the explanation of some characters of the elements system, now the periodicity is not broadly known yet. This paper, at first, is reported as an outline of the study by Biron and a history of development after Biron, and next on the basis of the primary and secondary periodicity it describes a periodicity of the melting point for the d-elements which belong to 4-, 5-, 6-periods, a correlative between redox potentials and enthalpies of formation, alternate variations of ionization potentials, ionic potentials and electronegativities on each analogous-elments series. As a result, the curves of periodicity make it necessary to correct the melting point of the V, Ti, Hf, Ru, Re, Os elements. For example, the melting point of Os must be corrected from 2700℃ to nearly 3200℃. For unknown values of redox potentials and enthalpies of formation oxides of some elements, a correlative of both secondary periodicity is also estimated in its reasonable value.
