No one can deny that Dr. Noam Chomsky's theory of transformational generative grammar has been producing good results in many fields linguistically. In any scientific or academic field, however, it is very difficult and almost impossible for us to authenticate a perfect and faultless theory, not to speak of a linguistical or philological field where our human mental, psychological, emotional and sentimental processes do exercise great and decisive influences on the phenomena of our human languages, which means that in this field no formulization concerning any linguistical phenomenon can be attained like formulization used in mathematical principles. Lots of sceptical questions have recently come to be brought about around Chomsky's and other leading transformationalists' theories. This writer has recently come to be driven by the necessity of making deeper researches on some sceptical questions concerning their theories of transformational generative grammar in order to develop further and creatively these excellent and prominent theories. The author has successfully attained to an original field of his own theory by developing and improving the theories of tranansformational generative grammar heretofore into a new original non-transformational theory by receiving suggestive tutorage from Dr. Richard A. Hudson, the originator of Daughter-dependency grammar, and Dr. Randolph Quirk, the authority of Present-day English structure, at University College London.
