New method is developed for calculating the diffraction intensities of atomic beams at solid surfaces and surface energy bands. This method is applied to the numerical calculations of the scattering coefficients by a potential barrier and energy levels for the Morse potential and compared with exact results. It is found that the agreement is very excellent.
