This paper describes the intersymbol interferences caused by the waveform shaping CTD FIR filters employed in data transmission systems. The undesired outputs causing the interferences is generated by the charge-transfer inefficency(ε)of CTD. First, for the data transmission through the VSB band which occupies 48kHz bandwidth (12 telephone channels) in the FDM systems, the system configuration and the filter characteristics at ε=0 is assumed. From them, the difference between the transmission characteristic at ε=0 and that at ε>0 are deroved. Second, the average and the standard deviation of the interference voltages are analysed with respect to many binary signals generated at random and transmitted through the double-current or bipolar code systems. After associating the first results with the second, the approximate equations of the average and the standard deviation are derived from the difference of the transmission characteristics. There equations agree sufficiently with the results of the computer simulations.
