• The effective stress analysis of saturated sand ground was performed in this study, in order to understand the behavior of the ground in liquefaction process. The analytical method used in the study is the two-phase fluid-solid dynamic model based on the field equation of Biot's theory. In this analysis, the behavior of ground in liquefaction process can be represented well. After several case studies, by comparing the results of effective stress analysis with those of total stress analysis in which the effective stresses are not changed, the distinct difference between these results was appeared.
