Based on the field equation of Biot's dynamic theory, the two-phase fluid-solid dynamic analysis is performed herein by using a nonlinear material model to represent the behavior of solid granular medium. The influence of several parameters and the initial conditions, such as the depth of under ground water table, the kind of input earthquake wave and the rigidity of base ground, on liquefaction potential is surveyed by carrying out several case studies. From the conclusion of the surveys, it became clear that the response behavior and the liquefaction potential of the ground change with these conditions.
