High-Spin Molecular Resonances and Their Decay Properties

Dynamics of di-nuclear molecular resonances are clarified for both the symmetric prolate-prolate (Z4Mg+'4Mg) and oblate-oblate (Z8Si+'8Si) systems_ The decays into the elastic and inelastic channels of 24Mg+ 24Mg are studied, and characteristic features of the spin distribution and decay strengths are obtained.Possibility of the y-ray detections from the 24lV[g+ 24Mg molecular band is investigated.
