• The dehydration of 2-(1-cyclohexenyl)cyclohexano1 (3) gave cyclohexylcyclohexenes, cyclohexylidenecyclohexane, cyclohexylidenecyclohexene, cyclohexylcyclohexadienes, cyclohexenylcyclohexenes, phenylcyclohexane, and dodecahydrodibenzofurans. The product distribution was quite sensitive to the solvents and catalysts employed.
