The town planning of "Senhoku New Town" in the south of Osaka, which is said to be the largest in the Orient, has been carried out since 1967. As it is to be regretted that the flora in this area will become extinct sooner or later, I have made utmost efforts to preserve forever all the botanical specimens and some photographs taken there, which I have already given out in the previous report. Since then, the town planning in "Senhoku New Town" has been under way and a lot of buildings now stand close together, it is assuming an aspect of "New Town" Consequently the green-belt and the flora which would remain long in the history of thousand years will be shortly going out of sight. So I have made up my mind to go botanizing by directing my steps toward "New Town" dozens of times. I wil make a report on the state of these results.
