For minimizing the waste from agricultural runoff facilities or sewerages, many garbage disposers have been developed in recent years. At present, we can use the drying method and the biological method to minimize raw garbage. The former can reduce disposal briefly although much electrical energy is needed. On the other hand, the latter dispenses with much energy and ensures safety operations. To enhance the efficiency of microbiological reaction in waste reduction, microorganisms should be immobilized on any carrier. In this study, the combination of cellulase and immobilized microorganisms were examined for reduction of screeings.
