I settled "learning for women theory and abolition of licensed prostitution idea of Zenji Iwamoto" and "Shiro Fukushima and women's higher education" formerly. In that time, I did each fundamental study, but I could not utilize various materials collected for these articles fully. They are precious materials, so I left the documentations which was not able to be utilized as prospective study subjects. This time I tried to pick up the materials which were not treated by former articles among important materials of Iwamoto and Fukushima. Therefore I treated with two subjects in the article. (1)I wanted to evaluate it highly that Iwamoto developed the view of education, education activities, pedagogics itself. Though, modern pedagogics did not develop fully yet in those days, and nationalistic education on the basis of the Imperial Rescript on Education was promoted, Iwamoto lectured on the pedagogics that was extremely superior in. (2) I wanted to try to think about another problem what kind of thinking way the outlook on life that was fundamental to view of women of Shiro Fukushima was, and Fukushima developed activity about coherent women s rights exercise and improvement of social position of women as a journalist. By this article, I wanted to gather up important clue or materials about these problems that do not grow in each article yet. Two activities by Iwamoto and Fukushima were stern and difficult, when human rights of women were not recognized. Today, human rights of all persons became recognize equally by the post-war reform. But it is valuable today that it tries to look back toward thorny activity of the times that they were not recognized, in order to think about a now and future subject. Iwamoto and Fukushima thought about Japanese women higher education being late from an international trend, and they had a clear demand about women higher education and a right of a woman as a superior journalist.
