This paper describes how to change the matching frequency broadly, using magnetized combination ferrites. Conventional ferrite materials have had basically only one matching frequency region determined by their thickness and material properties, due to the complicated manufacturing process of ferrites. It has been, therefore, difficult to achieve the required matching frequency. As means for analysis, this paper introduces FD-TD method and its numerical results are compared with experimental results. On the basis of these investigations, it is clarified that the FD-TD method is effective for analyzing an EM-absorber with a complicated surface. From these theoretical and empirical viewpoints, it is clarified that the matching frequency can be changed broadly from 100MHz to more than 3.0GHz using the same kinds of ferrites.
