Diffusion of multipole magnetic fields (specially quadrupole) into a plasma container through its conductive cylindrical wall with a finite thickness is studied with regard to the desing of the system of the stabilizing field in B.S.G. experiment. The lower limit of the diffusion time is estimated by solving the Maxwell equation with the special initial and boundary conditions, and evaluating the rate of evolution of the time dependent solutions. It is found that the rate does not depend on the harmonic number of Fourier component of the initial field distribution. The theorv is consistent with the experimental result.
