A simple model is established for the rising phase of sawtooth oscillation and internal disruption in order to simulate whole sawtooth oscillation in tokamaks on the diffusion time scale. The model is incorporated into a tokamak one dimensional transport code and is applied to the DIVA low-q experiment. The period and amplitude of sawtooth oscillation are calculated and the comparison is made between the experiment and simulation.
