Sediment samples collected from raised beach deposits (1.5-11.5m a. s. l.) of East Ongul Island in Lutzow-Holm Bay, Langhovde and Skarvsnes on the Soya Coast, Antarctica, are analyzed for foraminiferal assemblages. Twenty-eight species belonging to 24 genera are identified, of which 19 species named here are newly recorded. The assemblage characterized by the predominance of Globocassidulina biora (CRESPIN) and Cassidulinoides porrectus (HERON-ALLEN and EARLAND) suggests that the sediments of raised beaches have been originally deposited at depths shallower than 30-50m.
