• Some observations on Asterophlyctis sarcoptoides are made for the development, and some of the thalli of this species are shown to develope directly from the zoospore cysts. Eight species of chytrids are enumerated as new to Nepal; they are Rhizophydium clavatum, R. polystomum, R. subangulosum, R. utriculare, Chytridium rhizophydii, Chytriomyces poculatus, Karlingia chitinophila and K. granulata.
