Providing sound privacy policy has been widely accepted in the on-line marketplace to realize secure transactions. However, if the privacy policy would be also usable for the deployment of ubiquitous computing services has not been vitally discussed yet despite its importance. Hence, this paper aims to examine the effect of privacy policy deployed by the ubiquitous computing service providers in terms of user's perceived acceptance. To do so, we propose an amended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which fit for the ubiquitous computing services. The results reveal that the perceived ease of use on privacy policy affects the perceived usefulness on privacy policy, which also affects the user acceptance. This implies that it is important for the future ubiquitous computing service providers to be alert in providing the users with the privacy policy in an easier and more useful manner.
