本報告は、高含水率の物質に対して、密度に依存しない含水率測定をマイクロ波自由空間技術を用いて実現する2つの方法を提案し検証する。方法1は9GHzにおけるマイクロ波の減衰量と位相変化量を測定し、測定した減衰量と位相変化量の比をもとに含水率を測定する。方法2は9、12GHzにおけるマイクロ波の位相変化量を測定し、位相変化量の比をもとに含水率を測定する。含水率190〜350%のモミ材の大鋸屑を試料として、方法1による含水率校正の標準誤差SEC (Standard Error of Calibration)は12.9%、方法2によるSECは8.9%となった。
