Impact of Micro-Credit Concerning Grameen Bank and Forward Thinking

The aim of the study was to identify some obstacles of micro credit and how Grameen Bank repayment system would be more eff ective. Micro credit has been introduced to rural communities in Bangladesh as a mean of economic and social development. The study area was northern part of Bangladesh. Northern part is a basically poor area and many NGO's micro credit program has been well extended. Random sampling has been applied for respondent selection. Data were collected on August 2010 to September 2011. Borrower must repay loan by weekly which main obstacle for changing livelihood in rural economy. There are 37.50 percent responded expressed for repaymentinstallment should be every two weeks not present system weekly. The paper concludesby suggesting that the new policy could be consider as a forward thinking for establish new policy, method for gross roots development by micro credit as a tools.
