人材流動化に対する読者の意識調査を目的に、日経バイオビジネスとバイオ研究者を対象にしたメール配信サービス「BTJメール」の読者に告知し、9月27日から10月8日までWeb上で、2001年12月号で掲載した人材流動化特集と同様のアンケート調査を行った。ただし、転職したい企業の選択肢を増やす（一部入れ替え）などの変更も行っている。 有効回答数は298件で、昨年のほぼ半数。
