Giant anomalous Hall resistance and carrier-independent Curie temperature, which cannot be explained by current theories, have been observed recently in Cr-doped Bi<inf>x</inf>Sb<inf>y</inf>Te<inf>3</inf>ultrathin films. In this letter, we report the systematic resistivity measurements of ferromagnetic p-type Cr<inf>0.2</inf>Sb<inf>(1.8-x)</inf>Bi<inf>x</inf>Te<inf>3</inf>bulk crystals. The exchange interaction J_{\text{pd}} was estimated using the magnetic impurity scattering (MIS) model. Both exchange interaction and Curie temperature were found to decrease with the increase of Bi doping level. Our results quantitatively show that the ferromagnetism in Cr<inf>0.2</inf>Sb<inf>(1.8-x)</inf>Bi<inf>x</inf>Te<inf>3</inf>crystals is still from the conventional Ruderman--Kittel--Kasuya--Yosida (RKKY) interaction.
