The \text{3s}\to \text{3p} excitations in the sodium isoelectronic sequence with nuclear charge Z= 12{\mbox{--}}14 are studied by extending previous scattering calculations for the electron-impact \text{2s}\to \text{2p} excitation for the lithium isoelectronic sequence [J. Phys. Soc. Jpn. 80 (2011) 034302]. Well converged results are obtained for the integral cross section, the differential cross section (DCS) for the angular distribution of scattered electron, and the angular momentum transfer. In non-resonant regions, similarly to Li-like ions, the scattering is approximately described by the distorted-wave calculation where the static-exchange potential is considered as a distorting potential. The DCS for elastic scattering by Ar7+ is examined to reduce the discrepancy between experimental and theoretical data by considering the continuum.
