A new superconducting layered nitride Mgx(PC)yZrNCl (PC: propylene carbonate) with $x=0.3$ has successfully been synthesized by an electrochemical Mg-intercalation technique in PC used as a solvent. From the powder X-ray diffraction measurement, PC molecules are expected to be co-intercalated with Mg. The magnetic susceptibility measurements have revealed the appearance of superconductivity with the superconducting transition temperature $T_{\text{c}}\sim 15$ K, which is the same as those in alkali-metal intercalation compounds $A_{x}$ZrNCl ($A=\text{Li}$, Na, K). The present Mgx(PC)yZrNCl is the first Mg-intercalated superconductor.
