HZSM-5 zeolite was applied in carbon dioxide reforming of methane via corona discharge at atmospheric pressure. The conversions of CH4 and CO2 mainly depended on the energy density of corona discharge, but HZSM-5 zeolite exhibited its effects for the selectivities of H2 and CO, and adjusted the H2/CO ratio in products. It is noticeable that some phenol directly synthesized in the plasma reactions when HZSM-5 zeolite was used.
