Equalization for Digital Holographic Data Storage

In this study, a finite-impulse-response (FIR) equalizer was employed in a holographic memory system to mitigate intersymbol interference (ISI) generated during storage and retrieval of two-dimensional data in holographic data storage. We showed experimental results with improved bit-error rate (BER) performance.
