Intense magnetic field generation in the Crab Nebula is studied by two-dimensional (2-D) particle-in-cell (PIC) simulation. We have proposed a mechanism of magnetic field generation based on Weibel-type electromagnetic instability. We apply our theory to simulate the magnetic field generation in the Crab Nebula and obtain an intense magnetic field by 2-D PIC simulation.
